Save money with a free EPB Energy Check-Up

Save money by saving energy and get a rebate to save even more.

John Watts, EPB’s Senior Supervisor Energy Services, details the free service EPB provides to customers that’s sure to help identify ways to save money and energy.  EPB’s free Energy Check-Up is available for all EPB residential customers providing a detailed inspection and report of parts of your home that may be robbing you of energy and costing you money.

John explains how EPB’s Energy Pros will schedule the free check-up and may surprise you with some of the energy savings you could have with sometimes simple actions or repairs.

Additionally, John lists a number of  EPB and TVA EnergyRight rebates for existing homes and incentives for new builds.

Chattanooga is my hometown. I'm a proud graduate of Hamilton County Public Schools with years at East Brainerd Elementary, Westview Elementary, Brown Middle and Central High. I went on to graduate from the Honors Program at the University of Georgia, where I met my amazing wife. After several years away in other southern cities, we returned to the Chattanooga area. Now, we live in Ringgold, GA with our two adopted kids, and we raise goats on our small farm.
I've worked in Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia for decades and know and love the towns and neighborhoods throughout the area. I love the community we have in Chattanooga, and the incredible transformation our city has enjoyed over the past 20 plus years. If you live here, you know what I mean.
